We have teamed up with Disney on Ice, the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries, the Columbus Civic Center and Columbus’ Ice Skating Rink to help promote literacy in our community. Our goal is that every parent leaving the hospital with a newborn will receive a cardboard book, encouraging them to read to their babies to enhance their development. On Sunday March 3rd from 2:00-4:00pm if you bring 3 board books to the Columbus Public Library you will receive a free ticket for opening night ticket to Disney’s Worlds of Fantasy Thursday, March 14th at Columbus Civic Center plus a free ticket to ice skate at Columbus’ own ice skating rink. (Limit 12 books, four tickets, per family. Only 500 tickets available)
